The San Francisco Symphony to perform March 18th at Hill Auditorium

The University Musical Society has announced that the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra will perform on the stage of Hill Auditorium on March 18th, 2010. An exceptional list of music will be featured but will be highlighted by the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto featuring violoinist Christian Tetzlaff as the soloist.

The program will include:

· Kissine : Post-scriptum (2010)
· Tchaikovsky : Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35 (1878)
· Ravel : Valses nobles et sentimentales (1912)
· Liszt : Symphonic Poem No. 2: Tasso – Lament and Triumph, S. 96 (1849
