Ann Arbor Folk Festival - 2012

The Ark presents and will  host  The Annual Ann Arbor Folk Festival on January 27 and 28, 2012 at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor.  The Lamp Post Inn will offer special rates on several of their most popular units for those attending the Festival.   When booking at  The Lamp Post Inn please use the Promo Code HILLEV. 

The two evenings will feature some of the finest contemporary and traditional artists with a variety of special performances.  Each night includes a blend of well known and upcoming performers. 

This year comedian Heywood Banks will be the Master of Ceremonies for both evenings. 

On Friday the talented singer songwriter Ryan Adams will be the headliner , and will be introducing his new highly acclaimed Ashes & Fire release.   He will be joined by gypsy-rockers Devotchka and the popular band Dawes.  

On Saturday evening  the Festival will celebrate their 35th anniversary with the legendary performers, EmmylouHarris and nanci Griffith.    Also rounding out the Saturday festivities will be Glen Campbell making his first trip to the Ann Arbor Folk Festival.
